Associate Financial Planner (AFP) Certification has been established by FPSB India to professionalize the product based advisory and specialized advisory services. It is targeted towards existing professionals who want to upgrade their Financial Planning  knowledge without actually undergoing the entire CFPCM Certification Program. The various certifications available under this option are:

Application Procedure

The procedure to pursue AFP Certification is similar to that for CFPCM Certification.

Register as a Student of CFPCM Certification Program under “Regular Pathway”.

Register & undergo the Education Program from an Authorized Education Provider.

Clear FPSB India’s Qualifying Examination facilitated by NSE.

Apply for one or all four AFP Certifications using Online Account.

The AFP Certification is valid for one year from the date of issuance. Hence forth, the certificate needs to be renewed by making a payment of Rs. 1000/-. Download AFP Certification Renewal Process Chart to view details. The AFP Renewal Form can be downloaded from Forms under Resources Section.

Benefits of AFP Certification

AFP Certificate of respective AFP Certification.

Certificant would be eligible to put AFP or Associate Financial Planner against his/her name. Eg. Mr. Pratap Singh, AFP (Tax Planning & Estate Planning) or Mr. Pratap Singh, Associate Financial Planner (Tax Planning & Estate Planning).
