Both under the Regular path program and the Challenge Status path program, a candidate is required to fulfill the 4Es Standard set by FPSB India. These standards are:

  • Education: completion of education in financial planning;
  • Examination: successful completion of rigorous standardized examinations;
  • Experience: financial planning work experience; and,
  • Ethics: an ethical commitment to putting the client's interest first.

Registration for CFPCM Certification under the Regular path Program

  1. Select the Education Provider for undergoing the CFPCM Certification Education Program. In case of “Self Study” mode, choose SELF-STUDY in the drop-down of Name of Education Provider.
  2. Obtain NCFM Number from NSE Website. To create the NCFM number, Click Online Register/ Enroll under NCFM tab.
  3. Register as a Student Member of FPSB India online & pay the Student Member Fees of Rs. 10,000/- through Online Payment Gateway/Demand Draft in favour of FPSB India. The System also allows you to generate your Members Login ID and "Password".
  4. Submit the signed Student Registration Form, DD if opted and Qualification Documents (Minimum Qualification Certificate as required, Photograph and Marriage Certificate or Pan Card Copy/Passport Copy in case of change of name after marriage) with the chosen EP in case of EP mode or with FPSB India in case of Self Study mode. The documents need to be submitted to the EP or FPSB India, as per the mode chosen, within 14 days after registering online.
  5. In case of EP mode, EP submits the documents to FPSB India, post verification, within 7 days of receipt from the Student.
  6. FPSB India activates the Student Registration and online login facility. A confirmation email is sent by FPSB India upon confirmation.
  7. A Student can take the Exam 1-4 60 days after the activation.

Registration for CFPCM Certification under the Challenge Status Program

  1. Check your Eligibility Criteria for the Challenge Status Program.
  2. Choose whether you want to apply directly with FPSB India or through an Education Provider.
  3. Obtain NCFM Number from NSE Website.
  4. Register as a Student (Challenge Status Pathway) of FPSB India online & pay the Challenge Status Fee through Online Payment Gateway/DD. The System also allows you to generate your Login ID and "Password".
  5. Submit the signed Challenge Status Registration Form, DD if opted and Qualification Documents to FPSB India (Challenge Status Division) or your Authorized Education Provider (EP) if opted for. The documents needs to be submitted to the FPSB India/EP within 14 days after registering online
  6. EP submits the documents to FPSB India, post verification, within 7 days of receipt from the Student.
  7. FPSB India verifies the documents & payment of the application.
  8. FPSB India activates your registration and online login facility. A confirmation email is sent by FPSB India upon confirmation.
  9. A Student can immediately schedule Exam 5 through FPSB India Login facility.
